PRESERVATION
Special moments in life come and
leave so quickly. Your wedding day is one such occasion. We
can preserve the petals from your bouquet or from the flowers
left over from your wedding to create a unique and beautiful
frame or picture. This can be displayed in your home as a priceless
treasure, one that will last forever...
Floral preservation is a process that extracts moisture from
the flowers (creating dried flowers) which are then varnished
to maintain a dehydrated state. The process can take several
weeks and some flowers may have to be colour-enhanced by hand
depending on the natural dehydrated colour of the flower. This
colour enhancing seals and locks in the natural beauty of the
bloom to last for years. The colours of the flowers deepen during
the preservation. White flowers become creamy or more ivory
during the process and coloured flowers deepen or intensify
in colour.
You can complete the picture by having a frame custom made by
our framing department, assembled to fit perfectly to preserve
and highlight your keepsake.
In the samples below the ribbon, pearls, diamantes and beading
from the brides bouquet have been used within the design.
